Ben D. Waghorn
Prior to entering law school, Ben completed his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with GMI Engineering and Management Institute (now Kettering University) in Flint, Michigan in a full co-op engineering program. Throughout his co-op terms, Ben worked for General Motors Canada in Oshawa. Upon graduation from GMI, Ben joined General Motors in their marketing department and worked in positions increasing responsibility until leaving General Motors to begin law school.
Ben has long been dedicated to community service. During his law school years, he was co-coach of a local mixed soccer team of 9 and 10 year olds. He also began working with the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame, located in St. Marys, Ontario. His responsibilities there have included chairing a fundraising campaign from 1998-2000 and chairing the Board of Directors from 2000-2006.
Having grown up in St. Marys, Ben understands what a great community it is to raise a family. Ben is happy to be firmly rooted here in our fine community.
